ABOUT US

The Hymax Field Hockey Club provides the opportunity for young field hockey players to improve their skills and learn new ones in a competitive yet friendly environment. Maryland field hockey players thrive within our welcoming environment. Each player is valued as a club member and coached to maximize their talent and solidify their skills and game knowledge.

While we welcome players of all levels, each player will be placed on a team based upon their individual strengths and development each season. Our season is divided into indoor and outdoor.

COLLEGE RECRUITING OPPORTUNITIES

Our goal is to also help each athlete who wishes to continue playing field hockey throughout their college career.

HYMAX participates in many college recruiting events & offers guidance during the process. Colleges for some of our current and past girls field hockey club members include: Brown University, Kenyon College, App State, Towson University, University of Massachusetts, Yale, University of Delaware, Montclair State, West Chester University, Rochester Institute, Worchester Polytechnic Institute.

Events our field hockey teams attend:

• Shooting Stars Thanksgiving, Richmond

• USFH National Field Hockey Festival , Florida

• Winter Escape, Florida

• National Indoor Qualifier, Various

• National Indoor Tournament, PA & VA

• Shooting Star Easter or Jamboree, DE

• Regional Club Championship

• National Club Championship (Should HYMAX Qualify)

• Limelight, PA Spooky Nook

OUR SEASON

Our field hockey club competes in both indoor and outdoor season. Indoor begins early November and ends in February. Our outdoor season begins late March and ends early June.

Each team will play a minimum of 3 tournament games each season with the option for additional events. Teams will also be entered in college recruiting events once they enter 9th grade.
